Q. What happens now I've completed and returned my application form for membership?
A. Once your application form has been received by Glasgow City Marketing Bureau (GCMB) it will be submit to our CEO and Head of Convention Bureau for approval. Once a decision has been made you will be contacted by our Membership Manager. We aim to have a decision on your application within 7 working days. Hotels and venues will be required to have a visit form our Membership Manager prior to membership being granted.
Q. I am an existing member - When are my membership fees due?
A. GCMB membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March each year. In March existing members are invited to renew their membership for the following year simply by settling their invoice within 30 days. All members that wish to cancel their membership should write to the
Membership Manager within 30 days.
Q. I am a new member - When are my membership fees due?
A. Businesses joining membership throughout the year will be invoiced on a pro rata basis once their application has been approved. New Members will not appear on seeglasgow.com or in our other promotional literature until their invoice has been settled in full.
Q. How can I pay my membership fees?
A. Membership fees can be paid by cheque (payable to Glasgow City Marketing Bureau), BACS, debit or credit card. For bank details or to provide credit or debit card details please contact our Finance Department on 0141 566 0800.
Q. When is the Glasgow Conference Brochure published? How soon will my company be listed in it?
A. All GCMB members receive a listing in the Glasgow Conference Brochure, a bespoke web based brochure of conference venues and services, which is updated in-house as and when required. All members will appear in the brochure once their membership invoice has been settled in full.
Q. How often is the Glasgow Conference Meetings & Events Diary updated and published?
A. GCMB produce a comprehensive diary of all conferences, meetings and events coming to Glasgow up to 2012 (available only to members of GCMB). The Diary is updated every 4 to 6 weeks and will be e-mailed to the main contact for your business. If you wish to receive a copy of the diary please e-mail

A. All members receive an entry on Glasgow City Marketing Bureau's website and all amendments/updates should be e-mailed to our
