Agencies Appointed for £1.83 million Strategic positioning of Glasgow: Scotland with style

 
Glasgow City Marketing Bureau has announced today (21 September 2005) the appointment of the following five agencies to undertake agreed activity in support of the £1.83 million strategic positioning of the Glasgow: Scotland with style city branding campaign:
 
·         Advertising, Design, Print & Production – Maguires
·         Advertising Placement & Purchase – Feather Brooksbank
·         Monitoring & Evaluation Studies – TNS Travel & Tourism
·         Provision of Free & Promotional Goods – Orb International
·         Web Design Services – bd-ntwk
 
The successful agencies were appointed following a rigorous tendering procedure.
 
Commenting on the latest news, Councillor Alex Mosson, Chairman of Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, said: “The combined forces of the new agencies - alongside the existing brand team at Glasgow City Marketing Bureau - will deliver a strategic programme of ground-breaking and innovative activity, which will heighten awareness of Glasgow: Scotland with style both in the UK and in our key markets overseas.”
 
The strategic positioning phase of Glasgow: Scotland with style has secured £1.14 million from Glasgow City Council and £687,509 from the European Regional Development Fund through the 2000 - 2006 Western Scotland Objective 2 Programme.
