Now in its fourth year, the event is once again sponsored by Glasgow: Scotland with style and Moet & Chandon – Official Champagne to London Fashion Week. A raft of prestigious luxury brands will add to the high octane glamour befitting of the occasion.

In a very special tribute, the much anticipated fashion segment of this year’s SCOTTISH STYLE AWARDS will present a stunning runway homage to JOHNSTONS OF ELGIN. The homage will be showcased exclusively in Glasgow for one spectacular night only. Renowned internationally as the ‘Name behind the Names’, Scotland’s greatest purveyor and manufacturer of luxury cashmere and tweed supplies the most prestigious couture houses and directional fashion independents across the globe.

Nominations across the twelve award categories will be decided by a truly stellar, and soon-to-be-revealed, judging panel. These globally recognised arbiters of style will assume the mantle of responsibility, held in previous years by creative luminaries including Tracey Emin, Sam McKnight, Dylan Jones, Rankin, Elle Macpherson, Jonathan Saunders and Dinos Chapman, in their collective quest to choose this year’s foremost ambassadors of style.

The accolades presented at this year’s gala occasion range from Scotland’s most stylish Male, Female and Band or Musician, to the hotly contested Fashion Designer of the Year. The dazzling roll call of previous recipients in the aforementioned categories include James McAvoy, David Tenant, KT Tunstall, Calvin Harris, Katie Leung, Lauren Tempany, Christopher Kane and Aimee McWilliams.

Tastemaker of the Year, the penultimate accolade of the ceremony, salutes inspirational Scots whose creative endeavours have impacted on our cultural life and defined or redefined our understanding of style and creativity, whilst Scotland’s most stylish Boutique and High Street Retailer will also be named along with the cream of the hospitality industry via the most stylish Bar, Restaurant, Hotel and Entertainment Venue accolades.  The ceremony culminates in a very special award for an individual or enterprise that has made an outstanding and enduring contribution to Scottish style.
