Beyond the city
Seaplane
Loch Lomond Seaplanes operate a seaplane
service from a new purpose-built terminal at the Glasgow Science
Centre on the River Clyde to Oban Bay – a journey time of
approximately 24 minutes, flying over areas of outstanding natural
beauty. Once in Oban, there’s time for a bite to eat and a spot of
sightseeing before the return journey. Or, if you prefer, extend
your stay and return at a later date.
The service operates from February to November, weather
permitting, with plans to fly to other Scottish destinations such
as Mull and Skye in the near future. In the meantime, charter
enquiries are also welcome opening up the possibility of
experiencing the best of both Glasgow and Scotland in one fantastic
trip.
